i swore i thought i said i would blog more.

Well, over 6 months have gone by since my last blog (that I didn’t even bother to
change the photo for LOL) but how about some updates for you, yeah?

- I’ve got 3 more classes to go and then I graduate. I’m doing it very slowly :X but you know what? I’ve got the time luxury to do this, so I’m using it.
- I went to passover for the first time in about... oh, 5-7 years this year and saw a bunch of my family.
- I’m going to the D23 Expo in September in Anaheim - hope to meet a bunch of new Disney friends!
- I met one of my best friends, Holly, for the first time at Walt Disney World this past March. You can see some of our pictures in the photos section.
- I’ll be spending my birthday in Walt Disney World as well!
- I auditioned for American Idol this year, as well as America’s Got Talent.
- I’m taking cake decorating classes in July and September
- Funk In The Trunk recorded our first EP in an actual studio!

That sums up the majority of the last 6 months LOL I spent a lot of time with schoolwork, but got all A’s so thats a plus. I’ll try to update (if anyone actually reads this and wants me to LOL) but in the mean time, you can follow me on twitter if you wish, just send me an @ letting me know you saw my site or something.

why i never blog.

1) im lazy
2) anything i want to say, i always feel i have to be a little safe because you never know who is reading, or if it offends anyone
3) my life is pretty boring
4) i never find time
5) i’m too busy watching martha stewart (which, ironically i happen to be watching as i write this lame list)
6) school>updating
7) the likelihood anyone reads this is slim to none.

so yeah. welcome to 2009. what did i do for new years? get bailed on. pretty much the same stuff every year so im not too concerned. i got all a’s last semester in school, thats a good thing seeing as i totally slaved away during finals month. note, i said month not week because some certain professor doesn’t understand the concept of a final being 1 paper, not 4, but i digress.

next semester is coming up in 2 weeks. im a little excited - 2 courses about music. unfortunately, i’m not sure if i’m getting what i expect. intro to music i tried to take once with a different teacher, and it was just so.... sound consuming. it was all about deeply listening for sounds and instruments and patterns within any given song. i’m not that kind of musician. the other class is about world music, which im also a little skeptical on but i am a fan of many musical stylings. im also not a fan of many musical stylings. we’ll see how it goes.

sorry for there being no blog for 3 months. I don’t know what makes me not remember to blog here.

some updates:
i cut my hair back in november.
i lost 10 pounds so far on weight watchers.
i really want to marry david cook from american idol.
i’m also really shooting myself in the foot for not auditioning, because i would have met him and could have been dating him by now.
i went to the kathy and judy convention again this year - and hello to the table full of inebriated women at kitty o sheas LOL
i more or less quit school
i’m going to disneyworld in a month with my family.

that pretty much sums up my list. i’ll try to be better next time.

a long december, and it’s reason to believe...

ack, I never realize when I abandon my projects until months after. I apologize. anyway, lets get to a life recap here, shall we?

I’m now 23, as of December 5th, and it’s a little strange. I feel as if everything is so slow. I dunno, anyway next thing is I finally got my acceptance letter to Columbia, and I’m starting in the spring with a nice high-rise apartment with floor to ceiling windows as my ‘campus housing’. I’m stoked. my band is going well, we’re doing a lot of production work and stuff and really getting our damn act together, it’s great.

I really hope, though, that 2008 will pull everything together. I’m expecting it all to just go bam-bam-bam, fall right into place. School, Music, everything.

here’s to another year, hopefully it will be better than the last.
